Take a Measure of Yourself
Most of us are busy leading our lives, putting one foot in front of the other, and we don’t recognize how often we’re having thoughts of self-doubt or longing for change within ourselves or using addictions and other substitutes for the deep inner nourishment we’re missing.
Do any of these describe you?
- You have certain things you want to accomplish, but procrastination and fears hold you back. You may have been to counseling, and it may have helped, but there are still blocks that prevent you from moving ahead. You imagine life after your dreams are fulfilled, and you know it's worth striving for if you can just take the right actions with energy and willingness.
You CAN fulfill your dreams!
- You know a balanced diet, sleep and exercise are important for your health and longevity, yet you choose foods you regret eating, stay up too late or avoid exercise. You berate yourself and wonder why you don't change. You hold a picture of your healthy self and the life you want, and you know it should be possible.
You CAN replace old habits!
- You're a spiritual seeker, and you've worked to become a better human being. You're more balanced and loving, but you still have conflicts with some people. At times you have resentments, confusion about what you want or a lack of unconditional love for yourself and others. You know people who have contentment, creative flow and genuine love in their lives, and you don't want to give up until you do, too.
You CAN have all the love and compassion you want in your life!
